Lake Mashu Horse Trekking
Take a 4-hour round trip on horseback from the dairy farming area by Kawayu-Onsen Station to the Daikanbo viewpoint by Lake Mashu. Riding through ever-changing terrain to the top of the mountain. The tour is available for ages 12 and up, and don't worry if you've never ridden before - your guide will give you instructions along the way. The Daikanbo viewpoint is in a rugged area that cannot be accessed by car - it doesn't get more off the beaten track than this! (Onigiri (rice balls) are provided for lunch.)

3. Horse trekking is a group activity that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of their level of skill or experience.
Disruptive behavior will interfere not only you but also impact on the safety of all participants. Please be sure to follow the instructions from the leaders.

Riding boots, helmets, gloves and raincoats are available for rental.
These items are not compulsory but they are strongly recommended for your safety.
